Hockey Excel
Skate Better. Play Better!
Program Instructor: Piper Wicht
Program Details
The Hockey Excel program offers Rink Rookies 1–4 & Hockey Basics 1–6 classes designed to teach fundamental skating and hockey skills in a fun, supportive environment. Skaters progress through each level by developing balance, coordination, agility, edge control, and essential skating techniques. Through focused instruction on inside and outside edges, turning, stopping, and stride development, skaters build confidence on the ice while creating a strong foundation for future hockey success.
Strong skating skills are the foundation of great hockey players. Hockey Excel is designed with this philosophy in mind. Hockey Basics 1 introduces skaters to the fundamentals of skating and prepares them for participation in hockey programs. Rink Rookies 1–4 covers many of the same foundational skills but is tailored for children ages 3–6, offering a slower-paced, age-appropriate learning environment. Whether your goal is to learn the basics or improve your performance on the ice, Hockey Excel helps skaters build the skills they need to succeed!
